Our History

Sacred Heart Sen. Sec. School , Mandi Gobindgarh is one of the most prestigious schools in Punjab. It was founded in 1995 by Mr. Jose Kottaram alias Joseph Mathew (Founder & Chairman) and entrusted to Sacred Heart Educational, Religious and Charitable Society, Affiliated to the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE),New Delhi. The foundation stone of the school was laid by R.V. Dr. Gilbet B. Bishop of Shimla Church and inaugurated by Raja Narender Singh, Civil Aviation Minister on 21 November 1995. Today, the school is a co- educational institution that has been offering world class education for over two decades under the able guidance of Mr. Joseph Mathew (Chairman) and Mr. J.P.S Jolly (Managing Director). We remain committed to the open exchange of ideas and the facilitation of quality of education that brings meaning to the lives of students, our communities and the world at large.
