Karwa Chauth Celebration

Karwa Chauth Bash was celebrated at Sacred Heart Sen. Sec. School, Jalalpur with great joy and fervor on 15th October, 2019. The school premises was decorated with flowers, buntings, swings. The Chief Guest of the function was Deputy Managing Director Mrs. Satinderjit Kaur Jolly. The celebration started with lighting of lamp followed by Prayer Song. The students performed mesmerizing group dance, group songs, that was followed by French Play by grade V and VI. The Mothers Participated in Tambola and many other games and a lot prizes were distributed to Mothers. The mothers had a great time participating in Mr. and Mrs. Karwa Chauth competition. The main attraction was an event of fun Games that was appreciated by everyone. Mehndi was also applied on mother’s hand.

The Deputy Managing Director, Mrs. Satinderjit Kaur Jolly congratulated everybody and appreciated the efforts of teachers and students in preparing such events. The Principal, Mrs. Shalini Khullar also gave message that traditional festivals should never be forgotten by the youth.
